Alpine Responsibility Code

ALPINEO-ROVER--BLOG-ALPINE-RESPONSIBILITY-CODE

If you forget to use the +41 country code to call Switzerland from abroad, no big deal. You`ll get an annoying automated voice telling you to try another number, then just dial again correctly. But if you forget to follow the Alpine Responsibility Code ( ARC ) nobody can have a safe, fun time playing in the snow.

Alpine Responsibility Code

Maybe you`ve heard the ARC referred to as the Skier`s Responsibility Code, Rider`s Responsibility Code, or Mountain Safety Code. It`s the same thing.

The code changes a bit when you step away from the resort boundaries, as there`s a separate set of safety protocols for backcountry skiing & snowboarding, but it doesn`t matter if you`re on-piste, off-piste, in the terrain park or waiting in front of the ski school for your instructor…it`s everyone`s responsibility to follow the ARC.

Playing in the snow isn`t safe for you or anyone else if you don`t know the code.
